Chicks with Sticks

Camogie (ˈkæməʊɡi):

Involves a crooked wooden stick (hurley), a small leather ball (sliotar), a helmet to protect the looks, and 2 teams of women lashing the hell out of each other!!

Ladies we are making history here in Singapore as having the first Asian Camogie Team, after the success of 2011 Inaugral Mixed Camogie Game in Seoul, South Korea. This year we hope to build on last years achievements and continue to build a squad, spreading the camogie love (stick fighting).

Whether you curl in fear at the sound of the clash of the ash, bemoan it’s barbaric nature or thrill at the puck of a ball, we got you covered.
From seasoned veterans raised with a hurley as a third arm, to the absolute novices who cant pronounce the name, if you want to give it a ‘lash’, come on down!

Training is every Wednesday @ 8-9pm at the Singapore Khalsa Association, Tessensohn Road (near Farrer Park MRT).
