Friday Night Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the Games was held in the Ball room of the Traders hotel so the Lions and Lionesses didn't have far to go.  MC for the evening was one of two honorary members of the Singapore Gaelic Lions, Micheal O'Muircheartaigh.  The Games were officially opened by the President of the GAA, Nickey Brennan.  Following some both Malay and Irish Dancing displays from some of the SGL Cubs among others, the draw for the games was done and everyone (yes, everyone) headed off to bed nice and early.
