The second and final game of this year's series was played at NUS sports ground (formerly known as SMU) on Saturday, June 14th. In a very tight game the Wombats came out the victors with a 2 point win. With a greater combined scoreover the two games the Wombats win the title this year, their first time winning this prestigious trophy.

Named and played in honour of our great friend and team-mate, the Bill Nikolopoulos Cup is an International Rules series played annually between the Singapore Gaelic Lions and the Singapore Wombats.
This year's series kicked off on Saturday, May 10th at the Australian International School. It was tough high spirited and entertaining game that saw the Wombats win by 33pts. The cup will be played this year over 2 games, where the team with the higher combined score taking the glory.
The second and final game was played at NUS sports ground (formerly known as SMU) on Saturday, June 14th. The Wombats took the cup this year by winning both games and narrowly beating the Lions by 2 points in the second game.
