St. Patrick's Weekend Social

A busy weekend all around.  The Lions played a challenge match, first of the season on Saturday 15th at Turf City with the combined Munster/Connacht/ROW team winning out over Leinster/Ulster in the afternoon heat.  All cooled down after the match with a few beers courtesy of Mr. Galvin and headed out to Molly's that night for our first social of the year.

We held a raffle on the night to raise monies for the Club.  Thank you to Rachel Cox, Molly's and Brendan Wisely for sponsoring the prizes.  Overall $1,250 was raised - so thanks to Rachel for organising.

Though the result in the rugby was not what was hoped for, but in fairness expected... it was a great night out.  Thanks to Molly's staff for hosting us.
