Japan Tour

Tokoyo Inn Cup - August 2009

or the Toucan Cup....or something.....  we won it anyway!!!

A team of Lionesses descended on Tokyo over National Day weekend.  The excuse was Football ... the real reason was Ninja School....

Huge Thanks and plaudits go to our friends in Japan GAA for organising a superb weekend's entertainment.  We only saw one pub in the entire of Tokyo but it was a good un.  Lionesses returned with the Cup and even though we did manage to rob the Toucan - we left him in Japan so that we can rob him again in October.  Japan GAA - you have been warned ...

The Lowdown:

Earthquakes, plank-offs, ninjas, toucans, morning bacon, afternoon chicken, evening tofu-a-la-pond-slime, night kebabs, cheating Korea boys, bikini-clad men, 9-to-5, sake, jager bombs, ice-cream, some more icecream, yellow t-shirts, pink bottles, dancing Elvii, dogs with sunglasses, the Grinch, STEALTH, air showers, dance-offs, noughts-and-crosses, vending machine underwear, karaoke, random karaoke frogs, Paddy Foley’s, Paddy Foley’s, Paddy Foley’s… oh and… a bit of football!! What can I say… I think we made our mark on Tokyo…
